I chose to stay in this apartment not because it had a nice huge terrace, not because it had a funky designer couch and shelving, not because it had a swanky kitchen and comfortable stools to go with it. No no, I chose to stay here because the owner had somehow managed to turn the bathroom into a mini rainforest.

If you’ve followed any of my other blog posts and videos you’d know I love nature. So when I seen this place I thought it would be great taking a shower in there. I was half tempted to play one of those relaxing songs on YouTube while I showered, a ‘sounds of the rainforest’ one. Instead I just enjoyed the feeling of the water while I smiled at my surroundings.

One of the great things about watching or staying in all these Airbnb’s is that it gives you cool ideas for your own home. Needless to say I’ll be ordering 2 large sheets of glass to grow my own bathroom rainforest as soon as I get chance.
